CromeOS Flex – Installing Linux

CromeOS Flex Terminal

1. Click on terminal and the Setup
2. Turn on Developers
3. Enter a user name and allocate some disc space and click install
4. It will install a virtual Machine (VM) which will be Debian  (currently bullseye)
5. Commands  
   1. lsblk  list block devices
   1. sudo apt update  – update repositories
6. Installing apps
   1. sudo apt install liberoffice
   1. sudu apt install gimp
   1. sudu apt install inkscape
7. Installing apps graphically
   1. Go to VeraCrypt and select downloads
   1. From dowlloades doubleclip files to install in  Linux
8. Access to Files
9. Manage Virtual Machine
